I'm a freelance writer and devoted gardener, reader, quilter, and environmentalist. I share my home and garden with herbs that I use in cooking, to decorate, and to treat minor ailments.
I also share quarters with houseplants, quilts, cats, dogs, fish, and one very understanding husband. I have a wave machine on my desk, mobiles in my office, and orchids in my eastern facing window.
I write for www.HowStuffWorks.com and www.LoveToKnow.com among others. I also have two articles due out soon as part of the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader book series. These books are a hoot, and you can learn some useful information while you're laughing.
Spend a little time with me. I want to share some ideas and hear what you have to say about the world. They used to call this "disputing the passage", and that's what I would like for us to do. Even during tough times, it's nice to coax a plant out of the ground, make a blanket out of scraps of fabric, and craft a few things to give away during the holidays.
Life can be good . . .even in the worst of times. So, here's to abundance!
